A postpartum doula provides non-medical support for families after a new baby arrives. At Motherwell Postpartum, that support may include newborn care, feeding support, emotional encouragement, sibling adjustment, light household help, simple meal support, and helping the whole family find a rhythm that feels more manageable.

I support the whole family, not just the baby or the birthing parent. A new baby changes everyone’s routines, rest, relationships, and responsibilities. My role is to support parents, newborns, siblings, and the home environment as your family adjusts to this new season.

Yes. Return-to-work planning is one of the areas I’m especially passionate about. For working parents, the end of leave can feel like a second postpartum transition. I can help families think through feeding routines, childcare transitions, morning and evening systems, household responsibilities, and the emotional adjustment of returning to work after baby.

You can reach out during pregnancy or after your baby has already arrived. Some families like to plan ahead so support is in place before birth, while others realize they need help once they are home and adjusting. Either way, we can talk through what your family needs and what kind of support would be most helpful.

Each visit is shaped around your family’s needs that day. Support may include newborn care, feeding support, emotional check-ins, light household tasks, simple meal support, baby item organization, sibling support, or helping parents rest. My role is to bring calm, practical support so the whole home feels a little more manageable.

Motherwell Postpartum offers support packages designed to fit a range of family needs and budgets. Because every family’s situation is different, pricing is quoted after a complimentary consultation, once we understand the type of support you’re looking for, how often you’d like care, and the overall scope of the engagement.
During our consultation, we’ll talk through what would be most helpful for your family and discuss package options that make sense for your home, schedule, and season of life.
